We fission other people’s songs our own way — folk, country, and rock ’n’ roll from the foothills below a nuclear research institute.

About the band
We’re a group of musicians from a small village whose main claim to fame is a nuclear research institute — hence the name. We don’t have any original material of our own (yet).
We take songs we love — from folk and country to rock ’n’ roll and punk — and make them our own: acoustic arrangements with violin and cello, rich vocal harmonies, and a joy for playing that you can hear in every note.
There are seven of us, and each brings their own unique sound to the mix.
Songs We Play
Check out the songs we play — and a few that may soon make their way into our set. For each one, you can listen to a short Deezer preview and, where available, a recording of our own take on it.

Listen & watch
Until we record our own versions, we’re happy to play the ones we love.
